Overview
The C63 series is an airborne, whip, general aviation, communications antenna. The C63 series antennas are very high frequency (VHF) communication antennas designed for high mechanical strength. They come with machine-tapered aluminum alloy radiating elements. These vertically polarized antennas cover the frequency range of 118 to 137 or 138 to 174 MHz for both transmitting and receiving applications. The C63-1/A and C63-4/A are designed to be mounted on top of the fuselage. The C63-2 and C63-3/A are low profile bent back radiating element designs for mounting on the bottom of the fuselage. They are well-suited for helicopter installations.
