The DuKane underwater acoustic beacon is designed to generate a 37.5 kHz signal that radiates underwater to a distance of about 2 miles. Works to a depth of 20, 000 feet. Operated by a field replaceable lithium battery, part number 8102007K. Meets MIL-I-45208A.
