Overview

This non-curing, non-melting silicone paste is essentially non-toxic and highly durable. It maintains stability across a wide temperature range and harsh environments. DOW® DC 4 protects electrical connectors, cable ends, and terminal strips from moisture, arcing, and corrosion. It is widely used in industrial, automotive, and marine applications as a general-purpose electrical maintenance material.

Features & Benefits

  • Excellent dielectric properties: Prevents shorts and ensures reliable electrical performance
  • Highly water repellent: Creates a moisture barrier for protection in wet or outdoor environments
  • Wide service temperature range: Performs reliably in diverse environmental conditions
  • Resistant to oxidation: Long-lasting stability against air and chemical exposure
  • Non-melting, non-curing: Maintains consistent paste form without hardening or flowing
  • Material compatibility: Safe for most plastics, rubbers, and elastomers
  • Essentially nontoxic: Safer to handle compared to some industrial compounds
