Overview
3M™ polyurethane protective tape 8673DL is a transparent, 14 mil, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer tape designed to provide premium, leading edge erosion protection. With scratch, tear, erosion, corrosion, puncture and minor impact damage-resistance, this tape has a polyurethane backing with high peel strength that can withstand a wide variety of difficult conditions and applications. It is formulated for long term resistance to ultraviolet light. The tape and adhesive are protected by a dual poly liner to help preserve the quality of the tape until use. The liner also helps in wide web application. 3M™ polyurethane protective tape 8673DL is qualified for numerous aircraft and helicopter specifications. It is used in many aircraft maintenance and production efficiency and aviation safety enhancement applications.
