Alcor 86226 EGT/TIT Clamp Style Probe is backed by a 5-year warranty and features a small element diameter that allows for near-instantaneous instrument response. The lead wires are 11.56″ in length and configured in reverse stagger, with a long red wire and a short yellow wire, providing sufficient electrical power for Alcor unamplified instruments. A built-in radiator minimizes high-temperature effects on internal spot weld connections, enhancing durability. This probe is intended for use with Type K EGT or TIT instruments and leads, and the clamp fits exhaust systems with diameters ranging from 1 1/8″ to 3 1/4″, accommodating a hole size of approximately .1285″. It is accurate to ± 25 degrees at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit and is PMA and FAA approved for all reciprocating powered aircraft. The probe includes a hardware kit (P/N 38094) with four washers, nuts, and screws.
