Overview

8204 Artex Emergency Locator Transmitter is an Emergency Locator Transmitter designed to enhance aviation safety. It transmits distress signals on both 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz frequencies, providing precise location data to Search and Rescue teams within 100 meters. 8204 Artex Emergency Locator Transmitter features a new built navigation interface which operates independently of aircraft power, reducing the cost of installation. As a single-output ELT, it uses one RF output and a single coax cable to transmit both a 406 MHz emergency signal to Cospas-Sarsat satellites and a local 121.5 MHz homing signal. Its 2-wire interface is also compatible with older 121.5 MHz ELTs, making upgrades simple and cost-effective.
