Overview
The Zodiac Services® Protective Breathing Equipment 802300-14 is a self-contained smoke hood system designed for aviation crew use. It features a vacuum-sealed hood with an integral life support unit powered by a chemical oxygen generator. The system delivers low-pressure oxygen and removes carbon dioxide through a scrubber, maintaining breathable air for a minimum of 15 minutes. The hood is constructed from Teflon®-coated fiberglass with an outer kynol layer, providing durability and fire resistance. The unit includes a harness for secure fit and is stored in a protective case for quick deployment.
