Overview
Henkel Loctite® 640 Series Anaerobic cure one-part retaining compound is green in color and has a specific gravity of 1.12 and a viscosity of 600 centipoises. It has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C and a boiling point greater than 149 degrees C. The liquid compound has a sharp/irritating odor and comes in a 250-milliliter bottle. It requires 60 minutes to set and curing time of 24 hours. This product has a vapor pressure greater than 10 millimeters Hg at 27 degrees C and resists shear strength of 3200 psi. It withstands a temperature rating of -65 to 400 degrees F.
