Overview

Henkel Loctite® 565 Series anaerobic cure thread sealant has a flash point greater than 93 degrees C for safe use. This methacrylate ester-based sealant has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg at 27 degrees C, specific gravity of 1.1, VOC contents of 0.11%, 1.06 grams per liter Method 40 and a boiling temperature rating greater than 149 degrees C. The mild odored, liquid/paste sealant is white in color and comes in a 6-milliliter tube. It has a tensile strength of 25 psi and shear strength of 145 psi. This product requires 24 hours for curing and withstands a temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F.
