Overview
"Royco 555 is a 5-centistoke synthetic based lubricating oil formulated specifically for gas turbine engines, helicopter gearboxes and transmissions. This turbine engine oil offers improved load carrying capacity, anti-wear, corrosion protection, and high thermal-oxidative stability due to a blend of hindered polyol esters and a carefully balanced modern technology additive package. Royco 555 can also be used safely in gas turbine engines with higher power outputs and difficult temperatures. Note
Royco 808 is not interchangeable with any other lubricating oils except those qualified under MIL-PRF-7808 or MIL-L-23699.
