Overview
Henkel Loctite® ProLock™ Tight® multi-purpose thread sealant is suitable for locking, sealing and retaining threaded joints. This acrylic ester-based sealant has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg, specific gravity of 1.1575, VOC contents of 0.0086 and a boiling temperature rating greater than 149 degrees C. It has a tensile strength of 90 psi and shear strength of 1300 psi. The mild odored, liquid sealant is blue in color and comes in a 10-milliliter tube. This product requires 24 hours for curing.
