Overview

The BONDERITE® M-CR 1132 AERO Touch-N-Prep Pen is a convenient, single-component chromate conversion coating applicator designed for localized repair and touch-up of treated aluminum surfaces. Also known as ALODINE® 1132, this pen delivers an effective dry-in-place hexavalent chromium coating that enhances corrosion resistance and prepares surfaces for paint or further treatment.
This applicator significantly reduces labor, material use, and cleanup time compared to traditional immersion or brush-application chromating methods. Its controlled delivery system minimizes worker exposure to chromated solutions and eliminates rinse-water waste streams generated by conventional chromate processes.
