Artex 345-6196-04 Cockpit Remote Switch Assembly is a cockpit-mounted interface for select Artex ELTs. It provides manual control for activating, testing, and resetting the ELT system and includes a visual status indicator for pilots.
The switch assembly features an LED indicator that shows the operational status of the ELT and a control switch for manual activation, testing, and resetting. For installation, it requires a space of 2.0 x 1.3 inches on the panel surface and behind it. The design is simple to use, helping ensure effective operation of the ELT systems. Constructed to be robust, it ensures performance and longevity within demanding aircraft conditions. The assembly facilitates simple and cost-effective installation and can be used in either two-wire or five-wire configurations, operating independently of aircraft power.
