Overview
This 8 oz container of Castrol Industrial® Brayco 599 provides concentrated corrosion protection for aerospace equipment. The 27002AECZ variant is designed for use with MIL-PRF-23699F lubricating oils in turbine engines and helicopter transmissions. Added immediately after an oil change, it forms a protective barrier against rust and moisture during storage, especially in high-humidity or coastal conditions. Recommended concentrations range from 10–15% by volume for full protection, with lower ratios suitable for specific components. The corrosion-inhibited mixture allows limited operation up to 25 hours. Always consult the engine manufacturers manual for dilution guidelines.
