This translucent white grease is formulated with perfluoropolyether oil and a tetrafluoroethylene gelling agent, offering good lubricity and stability under various conditions. It is NLGI Grade 2, low in toxicity, and free from sodium and alkali metals. Compatible cleaning products include Castrol Fluoroclean X100 and Fluoroclean HE.

Overview
Castrol Braycote 803 is a smooth, buttery, translucent-white, NLGI Grade2, grease, based on perfluoropolyether oil and thickened with a tetrafluoroethylene gelling agent. This product provides excellent lubricity, oxidative and thermal stability, low volatility, good shear stability, low acute toxicity and contain no sodium or other alkali metal containing ingredients. Castrol Fluoroclean X100 or Castrol Fluoroclean HE can be used to clean this product.

Application
Braycote 601 EF is designed to operate in the presence of rocket fuels and oxidizers and high vacuum. It is frequently used in space applications including the Space Shuttle and satellites. It should also be considered in any application where a hostile chemical or extreme environmental conditions would preclude the use of an ordinary grease. Typical applications include ball and roller bearings
