Overview
Henkel Loctite® 242 Threadlocker (part number 24231) is a methacrylate-based anaerobic adhesive formulated for medium-strength locking and sealing of metal fasteners. The thixotropic liquid cures when confined between close-fitting metal threads and resists migration after application. Loctite® 242 provides controlled lubricity for accurate clamp loads, fast fixture time, and reliable resistance to vibration, corrosion, and leakage, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and aerospace threaded assemblies.
