Overview
Eastman 2380 Turbo Oil is qualified and approved for Mil-PRF-23699 STD (Standard) class and SAE AS5780 SPC (Standard Performance Capability) class. This lubricant offers a balanced combination of thermal and oxidation stability, high load-carrying capacity, and lower volatility, which aids in cold weather engine starts. Its excellent low-temperature characteristics enhance flow, ensuring maximum protection for bearings, gears, and other highly loaded surfaces. The oil resists deterioration, varnish, and sludge formation over long periods of operation, and it effectively neutralizes the effects of copper (Cu), reducing oxidation and sludge formation. Eastman Turbo Oil 2380⢠is recommended for the lubrication of most fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft gas turbines and their accessories, as well as for aero-derived gas turbines.
