Overview
Loctite® 222MS™ Threadlocker Adhesive (part number 22231) is a methacrylate-based, one-component anaerobic adhesive formulated for small screw applications. The thixotropic liquid cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces and is designed to prevent vibration-induced loosening while permitting disassembly with standard hand tools. It is suitable for low-strength metals such as aluminum and brass and can be used with activators (e.g., SF 7471, SF 7649) to accelerate cure where required.
