Overview
Chelton® Static Discharger 9.15in Mini-Probe is a dedicated static dissipation device, supplied as part number 2-16SC1, engineered to provide a controlled pathway for static electricity to leave the aircraft surface. The 2-16SC1 mini-probe mounts to trailing edges and uses a low-threshold carbon tip to produce the quietest possible discharge, helping protect communication and navigation systems from RF noise while adding minimal aerodynamic drag. It is fully interchangeable with dischargers from other manufacturers and is built to remain mounted at extreme flight speeds.
