This anti-seize thread compound is designed for aircraft applications, particularly on engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners. ROYCO 1MS is a blend of lubrication grade microfine powdered molybdenum disulfide, particularly suitable for use on aircraft engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800°F. The advanced additives, inorganic gel thickeners provide superior performance for high load and sliding surfaces used under severe operating conditions in broad temperatures and/or corrosive environments. ROYCO 1MS compound is non-abrasive, highly shear stable and has relatively low volatility compared to some thread compounds. Since ROYCO 1MS material is an electrical conductor, it is especially suited for anti-seize applications where the thread compound will not impede the flow of an electrical current.
