Overview

The Micro-Ultra 15-3 filler paste utilizes new technology and space-age materials, achieving a weight reduction of 30-35% compared to traditional fillers. It is ideal for repair and surface finishing of interior composites and is qualified to several OEM specifications. The chemical resistance of Micro-Ultra 15-3 is excellent, allowing it to withstand the cleaning solutions used in routine maintenance. This non-conductive filler offers a smooth, creamy consistency with high physical properties and less added weight. It has excellent bonding and filling qualities with fiberglass, SMC, BMC, RIM, FRP, graphite, and Kevlar® composites. The filler withstands vibrations and impacts without loss of bond or surface webbing. It can be applied using splining, squeegee, spatula, or any flat tool, and once set, it can be finished by mechanical or hand sanding or grinding. Decorative coverings can also be applied without bleeding out. Typical applications include filling porosity and cloth impressions in prepreg or wet layup/infused composites, filling porosity and surface blemishes on exterior composites, surface filling on interior composites, renewing and repairing broken or cracked areas, and overhaul and refinishing of interior parts.
