Overview
This applicator pen provides a clean and efficient method for repairing aerospace conversion coatings. The dry-in-place hex-chrome conversion coating requires no rinsing, making it convenient for users. It offers excellent paint adhesion and corrosion resistance, leaving a golden protective coating on clean, oxide-free aluminum and aluminum alloy surfaces. By reducing worker contact with chromating solutions and minimizing waste, such as rinse water generated from traditional chromating processes, this product enhances safety and efficiency. The pen contains enough solution to treat up to 4.6 sq. m (50 sq. ft.) and is compatible with most metals, including aluminum, ferrous, and galvanized substrates.
