This carbon ring seal assembly effectively prevents gas leakage between rotating and stationary components. Made from amorphous carbon, it offers self-lubrication, chemical inertness, and dry running capabilities. Its design allows for smaller clearances and features excellent thermal resistance, dimensional stability, and smooth surfaces for easy installation and removal.

Allocation Control: Allocation control is a process used to ensure fair allocation of assets. It is applied to parts with limited availability and high customer demand. Due to the nature of allocation control items, there is the possibility that stock shown as available may already be allocated based on previously received customer order(s). Specific questions related to allocation control, please contact Boeing Customer Support.
Overview
Part 1347M32G09 is carbon and ring seal assembly, that prevents the unwanted leakage of gases. The assembly a creates an efficient sealing between the rotating and stationary components. which prevents the escape of gases from one section to another. Amorphous carbon is used in the assembly which provides self-lubrication properties along with chemical inertness which also has dry running capabilities. They allow smaller clearances than labyrinth seals due to the ability of the floating carbon rings to adjust to shaft motion when high speeds are reached. The carbon seal has very good dimensional stability and excellent thermal resistant characteristics which provides a durable life to the product. Smooth surfaces and scratchproof bearing surfaces allow for easy installation and removal.
