Overview
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP100 FR Series epoxy adhesive is a two-part room temperature curable epoxy, offering high peel and shear strength. This adhesive consists of base and accelerator, which is mixed in 1:1 ratio for better results. It has a flash point greater than 201 degrees F for part-A/B. The product has a density of 1.3 grams per milliliter for part-A and 1.2 grams per milliliter for part-B. It comes with a vapor pressure rating less than or equal to 27 psia for part-A. The viscosity is rated at 35,000 to 85,000 centipoises for part-A and 60,000 to 80,000 centipoises for part-B. It has a storage temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F. This adhesive should be applied on surface within 4 to 8 minutes from mixing to ensure better positioning and adjustment prior to setting. It has a peeling strength of 2 piw and a shear strength of 2200 psi at 73 degrees F. This product comes in a 400-milliliter cartridge and requires a curing time of 24 to 48 hours at 73 degrees F. The liquid adhesive has a strong mercaptan odored part-A in white and an epoxy odored part-B in white.
