Overview

The Fuel Quantity Probes are installed in the fuel tanks and are DC capacitance, capacitance changes in proportion to the fuel level in the tank. The FQIS computer measures the capacitance of groups of Fuel Quantity Probes to calculate the quantity of fuel in each tank. Probe measurements are fed to the FQIS computer for calculations.
