Overview

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-1458 medical device adhesive is transparent amber in color and has a vapor pressure of 72.4 millimeters Hg at 68 degrees F. The liquid adhesive has a solvent odor and comes in a 1-gallon can. It has a specific gravity of 0.93 and a viscosity of 3200 centipoises at 73.4 degrees F. The oil-resistant elastomer-based adhesive has a flash point of 25 degrees F and a boiling point of 171 degrees F. It requires curing time of 20 minutes and dries in 2 to 5 minute. This product has a storage temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F.
