Overview
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-1357 high-performance contact adhesive is gray/green in color and resists shear strength of 452 pounds per square inch at 75 degrees F after 2 weeks. The liquid adhesive has a strong petroleum odor and comes in a 1-quart can. It has a specific gravity of 0.84 and a viscosity of 200 to 1000 centipoises. The polychloroprene-based adhesive has a flash point of -14 degrees F and a boiling point of 132 degrees F. This product dries in 10 minutes and has a vapor pressure 180 millimeters Hg. It withstands a temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F.
