Overview
3M™ 1357 high-performance contact adhesive is gray/green in color and has a viscosity of 200 to 450 centipoises at 27 degrees C. The liquid adhesive has a strong petroleum odor and comes in a 1-pint can. It dries in 10 minutes and has a vapor pressure greater than or equal to 185 millimeters Hg at 68 degrees F. The polychloroprene-based adhesive has a specific gravity of 0.815, flash point of -7 degrees F and a boiling point greater than or equal to 56 degrees C. This product resists shear strength of 452 pounds per square inch at 75 degrees F after 2 weeks. It withstands a temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F.
