Overview
3M™ Scotch-Seal™ 800 Series industrial sealant adheres to metal surfaces to resist adverse effect of water, oils detergents and fuel. This sealant is reddish brown in color and has a specific gravity of 1.04, boiling point of 80 degrees C as well as a flash point of 16 degrees F. This ketone heavy syrup odored sealant has 485 grams per liter VOC contents that evaporate without leaving any residue. It takes 1 to 3 days to dry. It withstands temperature range of -65 to 200 degrees F. This easy-to-apply liquid sealant comes in a 5-ounce tube and offers linear surface coverage up to 1500 feet per gallon when applied using 1/8-inch diameter wet bead and 375 feet per gallon when applied using 1/4-inch diameter wet bead.
