Overview
01N65900 is a Emergency Locator Transmitter used in aircraft to transmit distress signals. It operates on 406.028 MHz for satellite detection and 121.5 MHz for local homing. The unit includes automatic activation via an internal acceleration sensor and manual activation via a remote control or onboard switch. It features a transferable Activation/Identification Module (AIM) for simplified maintenance and dual antenna access for redundancy in case of primary antenna failure.
