Marketplace Initiative FAQs

 

What is our Marketplace program?

Boeing’s Marketplace program provides an expanded catalog of products allowing orders to be placed with Boeing (formerly Aviall) and shipped directly from a supplier’s inventory. Orders are typically filled next business day, but may vary based on which supplier the order is shipping from and the time in which the order was received.
 

How it works:

For our Marketplace program, please place your order with Boeing (formerly Aviall) through any normal channel. We will then ensure our supplier ships the order directly to you. The supplier will provide a packing list containing your purchase order number with the package, and any available manufacturer trace documentation. Boeing (formerly Aviall) will then provide your tracking information and billing invoice as soon as it is available.

 

There’s a problem with my order. What can I do?

How can I tell which parts are part of the Marketplace program?

Marketplace program parts will state “Marketplace parts” under the part number.
 

How is my order shipped?

Orders will be shipped directly from one of our supplier’s warehouses to the domestic address listed on your order.
Orders that have been entered as freight collect with your freight account number will be shipped using the FedEx or UPS shipping method you chose upon order entry.
Orders that have been entered requesting the freight charges to be invoiced will only be able to ship via FedEx Ground.
Please note that Marketplace parts do not qualify for free freight.
 

How do I return products or who do I contact if there are other problems?

For product returns, please contact us directly via email at BDISupplierConnect@boeing.com. All Marketplace return requests are subject to supplier approval, and supplier re-stock fees. If approved, we will obtain all proper return authorizations and provide them to you along with the instructions for returning your order to the supplier directly. Once the supplier has received your return we will ensure credit is issued back to you.
 

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel an order, please contact us directly via email at BDISupplierConnect@boeing.com. We will work with the supplier to get your cancellation request actioned and approved.
 

Can my order ship internationally?

At present, Marketplace orders can only be shipped to US locations.
