Frequently Asked Questions
How to seal a windshield in an aircraft?
Aircraft windshields are sealed with aircraft windshield sealants. Windshield sealant is applied with an extrusion gun or tooled with a spatula before it is cured. Fuselage sealants are typically available in a paste formula that offers excellent adhesion to common aircraft materials and does not flow or sag on vertical or overhead surface applications.
