Primer Coating, TT-P-1757, is a corrosion resistive primer that is specifically formulated for use on aluminum and aluminum alloy structures. This product is also suitable for surfaces that have been pretreated with MIL-C-8514 or DOD-P-15328 coatings. The primer is yellow in color and is lead free, making it a safer option for specific applications. It is available in different quantities within each unit package including quarts, gallons, and pints. The rated drying time for this primer is a maximum of 15 minutes, ensuring quick application and turnaround. It can be applied by brushing or spraying as packaged, or after thinning, providing flexibility in the application process.
