This biodegradable de-icing fluid is designed for use in aircraft wing structures, ensuring effective ice removal. It is clear, packaged in a 55-gallon drum, and features a vapor pressure of 9. 33 hectopascals at 0°C, a boiling point of 100°C, and a flash point of 54°C.
Clariant biodegradable de-icing chemical fluid is pumped through porous metal structures that form the leading edge of the wing on an airplane. The liquid fluid is clear in color and has a vapor pressure of 9.33 hectopascals at 0 degrees C and comes in a 55-gallon drum. It has a boiling temperature rating of 100 degrees C at 760 millimeters Hg, flash point of 54 degrees C and a viscosity of 11 to 13 square meters per second.
