Overview

The Kannad 406 AS Survival ELT is programmed with either the aircraft tail number, a serial number, or operator designator. Programming takes only a few seconds with the proper equipment. The Kannad 406 AS is a COSPAS/SARSAT ELT system and is qualified by the French Civil Aviation in eurpoe with JTSO-2C91& JTSO-2C126, and by the FAA per TSO-C91a and TSO-C126. This unit also complies with JAR-OPS 1-830 regulations.
