This two-part aircraft fuel tank sealant is designed for use with jet fuel and aviation gas. It features excellent elastomeric properties and adhesion to common aircraft materials. The uncured sealant can be applied by brush in thicknesses up to 25 mils and cures at room temperature to form a resilient bond.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including CARBON BLACK (AIRBORNE, UNBOUND PARTICLES OF RESPIRABLE SIZE [= 10 MICROMETERS]), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (AIRBORNE, UNBOUND PARTICLES OF RESPIRABLE SIZE) and TOLUENE which is [are] known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Overview
P/S 890 Class A is an aircraft integral fuel tank sealant. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas. P/S 890 Class A is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for application by brush in thickness up to 25 mils. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
