Overview

PPG PRC-Desoto® 654 Series class B windshield canopy sealant has a temperature rating of -62 to 160 degrees C. The sealant comes in two parts which includes part-A and part-B. Solid part-A is black in color, while the solid part-B is white in color. Part-A has a closed cup flash point of 98.89 degrees C and a VOC of 47 grams per liter. Part-B has a closed cup flash point of 98.89 degrees C and a VOC of 8 grams per liter. It has a specific gravity of 1.47 and a density of 11.93 pounds per gallon. This product has a kinematic viscosity greater than 0.07 square centimeters per second at 40 degrees C. It requires an application time of 1/2 hour and a curing time of 4 hours. The sealant has a tensile strength of 411 psi. It comes in a 6-ounce cartridge and promotes exceptional resistance to UV and weather exposure.
