Overview

1st stage of a turboshaft engine is where the hot gases enter the power turbine after compression and combustion stages. The blades of the turbine wheel are curved efficiently to capture the high-velocity gas and turn the kinetic energy into rotational energy. The power turbine wheels are connected to the output shaft, which turns the rotor. The materials, which are produced utilizing high-strength super alloys, have outstanding temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance.
