Chemetall Ardrox® water displacing corrosion inhibitor forms almost tack-free, waxy film, which easily penetrates to provide excellent corrosion inhibiting characteristics. This liquid inhibitor is light brown in color and comes in a 5-gallon container. It allows for easy application by dipping, brushing or spraying. This hydrocarbon-like odored inhibitor has a coverage capacity of 17 square meters per liter. It has boiling temperature range of 155 to 200 degrees C. The corrosion inhibitor has a flash point of 46 degrees C, making it safe for use. It can be stored at temperature range of 40 to 85 degrees F. It is suitable for use on painted and unpainted surfaces of airframe structures.
