Overview
Royco® HF-825 Synthetic Assembly Fluid and O-Ring Lubricant is a concentrated solution of methacrylate polymer in a synthetic diester oil, supplied as part number 825-1-75LB. Royco HF-825 is used as an assembly aid to stick-hold components in multi-component mechanisms such as gearboxes, pumps, and engine accessories, and to wet out or lubricate O-rings prior to installation to prevent chafing or tearing. Because HF-825 is commonly used as a viscosity index improver in lubricating oils, it is compatible with many oil-wetted areas and does not present compatibility concerns with those systems.
Features & Benefits
Tacky film for assembly: Provides stick-hold to help retain parts during assembly of gearboxes, pumps and accessories
O-ring lubrication and protection: Wet-out lubricant prevents chafing and tearing during O-ring installation
Ashless formulation: Does not produce deposits or coke in oil-wetted sections
Broad compatibility: Commonly used as a viscosity index improver so it is compatible with many lubricating oils
Used by OEMs: Employed and accepted by major airframe and engine manufacturers
