Overview

AeroShell Oil 80 is blended from selected high viscosity index base oils and does not contain any additives except for small amounts of pour point depressant to improve fluidity at very low temperatures and an anti-oxidant. This oil is designed to ensure reliable performance between scheduled overhauls, facilitating the crucial break-in process for new or recently overhauled four-stroke cycle aviation piston engines. The specially blended high viscosity index base oils provide effective protection to engine components, while the addition of a pour-point depressant helps ensure reliable lubrication and flow at low ambient temperatures.
