Overview
Eastman Skydrol hydraulic fluid has a proven track record with the longest history among phosphate ester products. It is erosion-resistant and contains a breakthrough anti-erosion additive and acid scavenger. Skydrol 500B-4 is also less irritating and the only commercially available standard density aviation hydraulic fluid. It has lower irritiation potential and popular for use in ground-based test rig applications.
