Overview

Momentive™ RTV106 Series high-temperature silicone sealant is red in color and has a specific gravity of 1.07 and VOC contents of 26 grams per liter. The silicone base sealant has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C for safe use. An acetic acid odored, paste sealant comes in a 2.8-ounce tube. It has a tensile strength of 375 psi and shear strength of 200 psi. This sealant requires 72 hours for curing at 25 degrees C and withstands a temperature rating of up to 260 degrees C.
