Overview
Henkel Loctite® 277 Series high strength threadlocker sealant is suitable for use on fasteners up to 7/8 inch diameter. This sealant has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg at 27 degrees C, specific gravity of 1.1 at 25 degrees C, VOC contents of 0.71%, 7.13 grams per liter and a boiling temperature rating greater than 148 degrees C. It has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C TCC for safe use. The characteristic odored, liquid sealant is red in color and comes in a 10-milliliter bottle. It has a tensile strength of 275 psi and shear strength of 1300 psi. This dimethacrylate ester-based sealant requires 24 hours for curing at 25 degrees C, 60 minutes for drying and 60 minutes for setting. The product withstands a temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F.
