Overview
This lubricant works in conjunction with the IBF system to prevent dirt, dust, sand, salt, and other foreign objects from entering and damaging critical engine components. When applied to the IBFs filter media, the oil enhances its ability to capture and hold contaminants, creating a highly effective barrier filtration process. By protecting the engines internal components, such as the compressor and diffuser, the oil helps extend the engines time between overhauls (TBO) and reduces overall maintenance costs. This product is particularly beneficial for rotorcraft (helicopters) and other aircraft that frequently operate near the ground, such as during takeoff and landing, where airborne contaminants are prevalent.
