The strong C-weight paper backing in the 3M™ clean sanding disc 236U withstands more severe sanding and minimizes edge wear. 3M™ clean sanding disc 236U is excellent for grinding and finishing aluminum and mild steel, as well as removing heavy and medium material in wood applications and finishing hard, soft and composite woods. Additionally, our clean sanding discs work great on primers, paints, sealers, enamels, fiberglass and plastics.
