Overview
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-2815 B/A epoxy adhesive is a two-part room temperature curable epoxy offering high peel and shear strength. This adhesive consists of base and accelerator, which is mixed in 2:1 ratio for better results. It has a flash point greater than or equal to 200 degrees F for part-A/B. The density is rated at 1.2 grams per milliliter for part-A and 1.4 grams per milliliter for part-B. It has a service temperature rating of 44 to 77 degrees F and takes a curing time of 48 hours. The adhesive should be applied on surface within 60 minutes from mixing to ensure better positioning and adjustment prior to setting. It ensures a tensile strength of 8200 psi and a shear strength of 5000 psi. This product comes in a 200-milliliter duo-pak cartridge. The very mild odor liquid adhesive has a white colored part-A and an off-white colored part-B.
