Overview

3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape 8694 establishes an excellent barrier to fluids when applied to aircraft floor panels, helping to prevent liquids from causing corrosion of the floor system. It incorporates a specially formulated, self-stick, pressure-sensitive adhesive for fast and easy application. The tape is supplied on a 4-mil top polyester liner, which aids in wide web applications and is removed after installation. Typical applications include aircraft interiors, insulation patching, cargo compartments, and serving as a fluid/corrosion barrier on aircraft flooring.
