Overview
3M™ 1357 Series high-performance contact adhesive is light yellow in color and dries in 10 minutes. The liquid adhesive has a strong petroleum odor and comes in a 1-gallon can. It has a specific gravity of 0.815 and a viscosity of 200 to 450 centipoises at 27 degrees C. The polychloroprene-based adhesive has a flash point of -7 degrees F and a boiling point greater than or equal to 80 degrees C. This product has a vapor pressure greater than or equal to 185 millimeters Hg at 68 degrees F. It resists shear strength of 452 pounds per square inch at 75 degrees F after two weeks. This adhesive withstands a temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F.
