During the late ‘90s, Rolls-Royce sought a service provider to bolster aftermarket support for the M250 turboshaft spare parts supply chain and increase competitive edge. In November 1999, Rolls-Royce awarded Boeing Distribution Inc. (formerly Aviall) a service provider contract.
The service provider contract with Boeing Distribution Inc. was extended multiple times to include Technical Publications and the RR300 engine was included in 2012.
Boeing Distribution Inc., is the exclusive distributor for Rolls-Royce M250/RR300 new parts, tooling and technical publications with worldwide customer service, comprehensive inventory and warranty administration.

The RR300 combines innovative design with the proven legacy of the M250 engines to produce a new engine family for the light rotary. The affordable RR300 makes smooth and reliable turbine-powered flight possible for a new generation of aircraft.
M250 Engine Information
Virtually every turbine-powered light helicopter manufacturer produces an aircraft which offers one of the Rolls-Royce M250 engines. This fleet of engines has accrued in excess of 240 million fleet flight hours on more than 31,000 engines delivered.
Midwest Aircraft Machine & Tools
Boeing is the exclusive distributor of Rolls-Royce approved M250 and RR300 engine tooling from Midwest Aircraft Machine & Tool.
Each engine maintenance manual specifies tooling for the repair and overhaul of M250 and RR300 engines, which includes use and part number.

Boeing Warranty Process
- Review Rolls-Royce OEM warranty policies and determine if and for which warranty is applicable.
- When new out of box part warranty applies, complete Boeing warranty form and follow form instructions.
- Email form, invoice, applicable documents or drawings and pictures to FAST@Rolls-Royce.com
- Rolls-Royce will email approved Warranty Authorization Claim if applicable.
- Forward approved Claim to Boeing Customer Service and Boeing will issue RMA to return part
- Ship part, prepaid, with copy of Claim and RMA to BDI Returns, 2750 Regent Blvd. DFW, TX 75261
- Credit is applied normally within 30 days of receipt of the returned part.
